# Installing JurisTrial

> Download and install the JurisTrial iPad app

JurisTrial is the iPad-first trial-presentation app from Island Legal Technologies, built to keep your exhibits, transcripts, and presentations ready at counsel table—even when courtroom connectivity is unreliable. This guide walks you through getting JurisTrial installed on your iPad from the App Store.

## Before you begin

Make sure you have the following ready before starting the installation.

| Requirement   | Details                                                        |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Device        | An iPad running a current, supported version of iPadOS         |
| Apple Account | Signed in to the App Store                                     |
| Network       | A stable Wi-Fi or cellular connection for the initial download |
| Storage       | Enough free space to download and install the app              |

  JurisTrial is designed to run offline once your case materials are loaded, but you'll need an active internet connection to download and install the app the first time.

## Installation steps

    On your iPad, locate and tap the **App Store** icon from your Home Screen.

  <Step title="Search for JurisTrial">
    Use the search field to look for **JurisTrial** by Island Legal Technologies.

  <Step title="Download and install">
    Tap the download button for JurisTrial and wait for the app to finish installing. You may be prompted to confirm with your Apple Account, Face ID, or Touch ID.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Launch JurisTrial">
    Once installation completes, open JurisTrial from your Home Screen to begin setup.

## After installation

Once JurisTrial is installed, the next step is getting your case materials onto the iPad. JurisTrial works alongside the rest of the JurisLit suite, syncing your prepared exhibits and presentations through the cloud.
