Before you begin

Make sure you have the following ready before starting the installation.
JurisTrial is designed to run offline once your case materials are loaded, but you’ll need an active internet connection to download and install the app the first time.

Installation steps

Open the App Store

On your iPad, locate and tap the App Store icon from your Home Screen.

Search for JurisTrial

Use the search field to look for JurisTrial by Island Legal Technologies.

Download and install

Tap the download button for JurisTrial and wait for the app to finish installing. You may be prompted to confirm with your Apple Account, Face ID, or Touch ID.

Launch JurisTrial

Once installation completes, open JurisTrial from your Home Screen to begin setup.

After installation

Once JurisTrial is installed, the next step is getting your case materials onto the iPad. JurisTrial works alongside the rest of the JurisLit suite, syncing your prepared exhibits and presentations through the cloud.

Connect with JurisPrep

JurisPrep is the cloud sync layer that delivers your prepared case materials to JurisTrial across devices and firms.

Prepare your materials

Build and review your case in JurisDiscovery and JurisReview before pushing exhibits to trial.
For the most reliable experience at trial, complete your installation, sign-in, and case sync well ahead of your courtroom date so all materials are available offline.
