Getting your firm set up on JurisPrep starts with the account owner creating an admin account. From there, you can bring your co-workers on board and grant trusted team members the permissions they need to help manage the system.

Overview

Setting up your firm follows three high-level steps:
1

Create an admin account

The account owner creates the firm’s first admin account on JurisPrep. This account is the foundation for everything else.
2

Invite your co-workers

Using the admin account, the owner creates accounts for co-workers and sends them invitations to join the firm.
3

Assign the Global Admin role

Once co-workers have joined, the admin can assign a Global Admin role, granting them permission to help manage the system alongside the owner.
Create a new account screen

Create an admin account on JurisPrep

The account owner creates the first admin account, which serves as the primary administrator for your firm. This is where you log in to manage users, billing, and system-wide settings.

Logging in

After your admin account is created, use your credentials to log in to JurisPrep and access the administrative dashboard.

Forgot your password?

If you can’t remember your password, use the Forgot password option on the login screen to reset it and regain access to your account.

With your admin account in place, you can create accounts for your co-workers and invite them to join your firm on JurisPrep.

Assign Global Admin Role

Grant a co-worker the permissions needed to help manage the system alongside the account owner.

Assign the Global Admin role

Once your co-workers have accepted their invitations and have active accounts, you can elevate trusted team members to the Global Admin role. Global admins share management permissions with the account owner, so they can help administer users, settings, and your firm’s workspace.
Reserve the Global Admin role for team members you trust to manage firm-wide settings and other users. You can adjust roles at any time from your admin dashboard.
