As the account owner, you can bring your colleagues into your firm’s workspace and decide who gets to help manage it. This guide walks you through creating co-worker accounts and, when appropriate, promoting trusted teammates to a global admin role.

Before you begin

You’ll need to be signed in with the admin (owner) account for your firm. Only the owner can create new co-worker accounts and grant admin privileges.

Inviting a co-worker

1

Create a co-worker account

From your admin account, create a new account for each co-worker you want to add to the system. This sets up their profile so they can sign in and start collaborating.
2

Send the invitation

Once the account is created, invite the co-worker to join. They’ll receive an invitation to confirm their account and set up their own credentials.
3

Have the co-worker confirm

Ask the co-worker to accept the invitation and confirm their account. Until they confirm, they won’t be able to sign in or be assigned elevated roles.

Assigning a global admin role

After a co-worker has confirmed their account, you can optionally grant them a global admin role. This gives them permission to help manage the system alongside you, the owner.
1

Confirm the account is active

Make sure the co-worker has accepted their invitation and their account is confirmed. Admin roles can only be assigned to active accounts.
2

Assign the global admin role

From your admin account, grant the co-worker the global admin role. They’ll then be able to manage the system with the same administrative permissions as the owner.
Global admins can manage the entire system, including accounts and firm-wide settings. Grant this role only to colleagues you trust to administer the workspace.
