Move a case and its data between JurisDiscovery and JurisTrial
JurisDiscovery can package a case and its underlying data so it can be moved into JurisTrial for presentation, or pulled back from JurisTrial when you need to continue working on it. This guide covers both directions: transferring an entire case, and transferring just the case data.
For moving a case between firms or between devices, use JurisPrep cloud sync instead. The import/export workflows below are designed for local, application-to-application transfers; JurisPrep is the gateway for cross-device and cross-firm collaboration.
Use this workflow when you want to hand a complete case off to JurisTrial for the courtroom, or bring a case back into JurisDiscovery to keep building it.

Importing case data merges or overwrites the data in the destination case. Confirm you have selected the correct destination before completing the import.
