
Importing and exporting case data between JurisDiscovery and JurisTrial
For moving a case between firms or between devices, use JurisPrep cloud sync instead. The import/export workflows below are designed for local, application-to-application transfers; JurisPrep is the gateway for cross-device and cross-firm collaboration.
Choosing the right workflow
Transfer a full case
Move an entire case—structure and contents—between JurisDiscovery and JurisTrial.
Transfer case data only
Move just the underlying case data when the case already exists on both sides.
Import / Export a case
Use this workflow when you want to hand a complete case off to JurisTrial for the courtroom, or bring a case back into JurisDiscovery to keep building it.Export a case to JurisTrial

Select the case you want to send to JurisTrial.

Choose the option to export the case to the JurisTrial application.

Review the case contents that will travel with the export.

Make sure you are working in the JurisDiscovery application.

Select the option to import a case from the JurisTrial application.

Pick the case package created in JurisTrial and complete the import.
