JurisTrial is built for live proceedings. Whether you’re at a deposition table or in front of a jury, it lets you project exhibits to courtroom displays and stay in control of what everyone sees. Because JurisTrial is offline-resilient, your presentation keeps working even when the venue’s network doesn’t.
Presenting in depositions and court with JurisTrial

Before you begin

Make sure your case has already been synced to your iPad through JurisPrep, so every exhibit you need is available locally. Once your materials are on the device, you no longer depend on a live connection to present them.
JurisTrial supports AirPlay and direct video output to courtroom and deposition displays, so your audience sees a clean, presentation-ready view while you keep your working controls private.

Presenting during depositions or court proceedings

To project during depositions or court proceedings, follow these steps.
1

Connect to the courtroom display

Mirror your iPad to the room’s display using AirPlay or a wired video output, depending on what the venue supports.
2

Open the case you're presenting

Select the synced case so all of its exhibits are ready to pull up on demand.
3

Project your exhibits

Bring up the exhibit you want the room to see, then use JurisTrial’s presentation tools to call out, zoom, and focus attention as you go.

Publish Settings

Publish Settings give you control over exactly what is sent to the courtroom display versus what stays on your personal iPad screen. This separation lets you prepare an exhibit, review your notes, or queue up the next item privately before publishing it to the room.
1

Open Publish Settings

Access the Publish Settings for your current presentation session.
2

Choose what the room sees

Decide which content is published to the connected display and what remains private to your device.
3

Publish or hold

Publish an exhibit when you’re ready for the room to see it, and hold or hide content while you prepare the next item.

Staying resilient during proceedings

Live proceedings rarely offer reliable connectivity, which is why JurisTrial is designed to run offline. As long as your case was synced through JurisPrep ahead of time, you can present every exhibit without depending on courtroom Wi-Fi or a cellular signal. If the network drops mid-session, your presentation continues uninterrupted.
Always sync your case through JurisPrep before you leave for a deposition or hearing. Once you’re on-site, you may not have a connection available to pull down missing exhibits.
