Once you’ve created a new case in JurisTrial (the iPad-first trial-presentation app from Island Legal Technologies), the next step is getting your evidence onto the iPad. JurisTrial supports importing data from a wide range of sources, so you can pull in documents, photos, videos, and more no matter where they live.
Upload data options in JurisTrial

Import sources at a glance

JurisTrial can ingest evidence from any of the following sources:

iPad Storage / iTunes

Transfer files between a computer and your iPad using iTunes File Sharing.

Flash Drive (SanDisk)

Bring in files directly from a compatible SanDisk flash drive.

Dropbox

Pull documents and media from your connected Dropbox account.

Photos & Videos

Import images and video clips straight from the iPad’s library.

Email

Save attachments from an email message into your case.
Be sure you’ve created your case before importing data. New evidence is added into the case that’s currently open.

Import from iPad Storage / iTunes

Working with larger collections

If your evidence set is large or originates from a discovery export, you’ll typically process and review it first in JurisDiscovery and JurisReview, then sync to the iPad through JurisPrep, the cloud collaboration gateway. JurisTrial’s direct import options above are ideal for adding individual files and ad-hoc evidence on the go.
Always confirm the correct case is open before importing, so new files land where you expect them.
